Vancouver Canucks vs. St. Louis Blues
The Vancouver Canucks staged a nice little comeback effort of their own to
advance to the Western Conference semis. Trailing the St. Louis Blues 3-1 in
the series, the Canucks roared back to seal the deal Tuesday night with a 4-1
win that sent St. Louis home for the season.
Trevor Linden scored shorthanded 28 seconds into the third period and assisted
on Brendan Morrison's go-ahead goal in the second as the Canucks won their
first Stanley Cup Playoff series
