I just got a offer from a US IB in HongKong starting Jan next year.
They included a quite a good sign-on bonus in the package and it will be
paid a
t the end of 2007
I was wondering for that bonus should I pay tax in HK or in US?
Anyone had similiar experience.
Thank you,
Kurt |

s******e 发帖数: 696 | 5 i think u need to pay HK tax , and also pay US tax for the remaining
amount (so pay x% HK tax, then pay Your US TaxRate minus HK tax rate to
IRS ).
The tax will be deducted by ur company automatically.
You must pay US tax if u are a US citizen no matter where u work.
