hi guys,
good evening.
I am looking for a aprtment around san jose down.
today, i took a look a apartment (2br, $960/mon).
the owner of that apartment told me that if I pay cash, he can reduce the rent
fee a little.
he try to avoid tax? right?
cash is safe?
how much I can ask him to reduce the rent fee?
if I pay cash, I should ask f | k**n

by check), but definetely need to get receipt to protect yourself.

发帖数: 1 | 3 It depends, my landlord prefer check as he can use it as an income certificate
to mortage another house.
If you have signed a lease, cash or check doesn't matter for monthly payment.
But it's better to have a record (etc. a letter of agreement) on your deposit.
Also make the terms of the renting clear by a letter, specifying who is
responsible for what...
