发帖数: 17771 | 2 Tony Li当年领着一帮人做出Cisco GSR以后，对未来产品的方向跟别人有了冲突，在门
口贴了一张纸条“爷不干了“，跟一些追随者创建了Juniper，做出了M系列router，然
后反过来打cisco，当时cisco最高端是GSR，Juniper后来的T/M系列要比GSR再backbone
方面速度要快
一些，所以拿下来最高差不多40%的市场份额。
后来Cisco又推出CRS-1，超前Juniper差不多一个generation，而且这几年的热点是
Carrier Ethernet以及各种各样的edge router，Juniper天生没有ethernet，所以这两
年，Juniper的日子非常不好过，core router上打不过cisco，edge router本来就打不
过cisco，现在又多了Alcatel。Juniper一直想在enterprise市场能有所作为，不过推
出的几个系列，J-router, SSG都不怎么成功，没能谱写core router的故事，只有收购
回来得netscreen还不错。
Juniper毕竟是小公司，现在越做越杂，绝对会讨不了好结果，要知 |
