for myself and in the meantime, I submitted I-824 for my husband who is in
China. My I-485 is still pending now. I am working under H1B visa. My
husband applied H4 visa about ten days ago and it is under background check.
He is offered scholarship from Chinese government which allows him to come
to US to work for 1 year.
What is the best solution for him. Should he apply for J1 visa? If he
applies J1 visa, is he still allowed to submit I-485 in US? | c**2
发帖数: 8496 | 2 When entering with J1 visa, he will need to get J1 waiver after that. In
theory he should not file I-485 or do CP before he's J1 2-year HRR is
fulfilled or waived. So don't do that if he wants to immigrate soon. |
