offer, I was placed into the MS program. And when I ask for the reason, the
department administrator told me that in their school, you can't enroll in the
PhD program without a prior Master's degree. I wonder if this is also the case
in your school. Anyway, when I applied for my F1 visa, I just told the visa
officer that I am going to the school's Master program. After I graduate, I
