school, and I want to go with him. Do I need to apply for a new H1b ? Or I
can just transfer the current H1b to the new school ? What is the difference
between applying for a new h1b and transfering the current one ? How long
would it take for the transfer ?
Anyone having similar experience please give me some help. Thank you very

如果H-1B已经失效已换其它身份的话办H-1B+COS
俺想你的case应该属于前者吧。
你应该让新的学校办理H-1B transfer
收到移民局的Receipt Notice就可以去新学校上班了
时间取决于新学校的效率
快的话一两周，慢的话一两个月
注意在新学校申请递交到移民局前
你在目前学校的H-1B必须保持有效
