LD and 2 kids are vacationing abroad in early July 2010 and can not file 485
together with me.
My question is: can LD and kids file their 485 after vacationing when they
are back in US? It is potential that my 485 may not be approved at that time.
Anybody has similar experience?

Yeah, they can file at differet time.

Are you in Newark NJ area? Do you know if USCIS Newark office do walk-in FP
if I can not make their originally mailed appointment?
