发帖数: 1467 | 2 I did apply NIW after J1 waive before approval of H1B and that did work. You
also can use J1 to go back to China but you can not submit NIW application
at that time. So the best would be go home before NIW application, come back
with J1, then wavie and apply for NIW. As long waiting period, you can then
switch to H1, then finally 485 application.
