This is my third year and my first-term H1B status expired last week (in the
end of June), but I filed an extension of H1B petition in May and the
application is still pending.
I will leave soon in a few days for China. If the extension is approved when
I am in China, can I still come back to the US on advance parole to
continue to work for the same employer?
Do I need to get a visa stamp from a US consulate in China?
It's very urgent. So any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
