我觉得工科的发文章比理科要容易些，还有工科要看会议文章而理科不看...有可比性么？
俺的基本情况：CS PhD还没毕业（预计今年summer），30-40名的学校，到毕业估计
文章15篇（基本都是1作但是很多是会议paper extend到journal那种...算
么？），Review几个会议多次和2个杂志，citation基本都是self。。。报道
勉强有一个，准备propose一本book（希望不大）...
如果去industry的话，EB1有希望么？NIW呢？

and NIW are not attached to a permanent job, and NIW is easier than EB1A.
You may want to get NIW approved asap, which gets you good benefit. | f*******4

suggesting me to first try NIW first and then later try EB1?
Does NIW approved help for EB1? I heard NIW nowadays has to wait as many
years as EB2 except less constraints...

given that you dont really have a job yet, if I were you, I will try niw now
, which is the only possible choice I
have. Yes, it's in the EB2 queue, but you are in a queue, better than not
in any queue. moreover, the earlier
in some queue, the better, nobody knows what will happen to such queues... (
maybe suddenly they will
cleanup the queues, just like what happened in 2007 ...)
