So I am asking, what kind of options do I have, when I run out my H1-b's 6
years duration before I get my green
card is approved.
Very concerned I need to go to China if I don't get GC approved in the 6

Yes, as your I140 is approved, you can try to stay as long as you like
without trouble to work. I140 only takes few months to get approved (for all
types)
