发帖数: 1301 | 1 after J-1 waiver, there is no more money in our lab. I got another lab work
for next year, but My j1 programme will terminate on 30 september. so there
will be 3 months gap about my status to stay in US.
Which one is best for me?
1. apply for H4 to stay home, anyone has the docummation list? is it leagal
to stay in US after submit the H4 application?
2. apply for F1 to study in community college, not sure the tuition? maybe
too expensive.
3. still study with J1-no pay, not sure it si leagal?
4. imminently submit my EB-1A application, but the recommadation letter is
not enough.

(1) J1 can be transfered to another program
(2) In some case, 3-year limit of J1 can be extended to 6 years.
Please google or contact a lawyer to double check!
