跟网上很多人比不算强。没有RFE，算是运气不错。尤其是media report当时是犹犹豫
豫，在律师的坚持下麻着胆子claim的。
要感谢一下Daqin律师，他是德州张group的。我另一位朋友，6次review，30+citation
也过了。不是帮他打广告，律师还是有一套的，我Eb1a的PL写得非常简洁明了，一共只
有8页。
我觉得我律师的一个原则特别对，他说绿卡申请就象一个法庭上的case，申请人的材料
贵在客观真实，尽量减少自己加工，这样能提高证据的可信度，让IO最后下结论。他说
IO们阅人无数，你对材料的加工越多只会增加对你的材料的怀疑。
容易得RFE，如果碰到刁的IO就反而容易被据。
这里我遇到的问题就是citation怎样统计。律师要求一定要independent的，包括所有
coauthors的引用的都不能算。
我用不同的搜索网站搜过（google shcolor，ISI，scopus，CNKI），各不相同。
google的优点是出来的数量最多，但自引需要手工区分，另外有些引用是重复的，还有
别人的毕业论文引用的，都需要剔除（班上有人REF时被提到过）。手工做工作量大，
最重要的是，违背以上减少加工的原则。
ISI优点能自动区分自引，但从citation review的页面钩掉去自引，在其后的每一篇的
list上你还是能发现自引去的不干净，尤其是coauthor的自引。必须在作者栏中选择去
掉自引，比较麻烦。另外我在国内一个英文杂志发表的一篇文章，在数据库中没有，另
一篇在同一个杂志的文章却有。写信了也没有解决。所以放弃。
最后采用scopus做的，优点是非常简单，自引去得干净。
具体步骤如下，
1，通过各种关键词，作者等，把你发表的文章逐一找到，钩上钩后点击add to my
list，
2，点击my list，现在这里面包括了你所有发表的文章，
3，钩上所有文章，点击view citation overview
4，钩上exclude self citations of all authors，然后update一下，
这个表就是最后的independent citation的统计表。当中有每一篇文章在每一年中的引
用次数和总计次数。所有文章的引用次数在表的右上角上。
对每一篇文章的引用list，你只需要点击这一行最后面的总计数字，就会有一个list，
打印出来就行了。
这样citation的第一部分就完成了，所有数据出自同一个数据库的网页，统计也是数据
库做的，没有任何人为加工。
还有一个问题是，中文的引用怎么办，scopus和ISI里面只有少数好的中文期刊。如果
查CNKI，中文引用数量可是不少，我的两篇中文杂志发表的论文，引用了80+，另外还
有300+的下载。不过你仔细看看这些引用的杂志，都是些什么没听说过的大学的学报。
最终，在律师的建议下，舍弃！
开始也觉得用其他数据库能找到的独立引用不列上去挺可惜的，最后还是听了律师的，
没有另外附统计表了。
citation的另一个方面就是引用者的国家和领域的统计，我是用的ISI。
citation是展示你的contribution的一部分，其中还有一个重要的的部分是列出代表性
的citaion的文章，律师给的建议是，
1，一定要是描述了你的工作的文章，只有footnote的那种不能要。（highlight 描述
和评价的句子，文章的作者，单位以及引用了那篇文章）。通常这样的文章是review性
质的，或者是这篇文章的工作完全是承袭了你的结论或者是思路。
2，引用你的文章是发表在较好的杂志上（附杂志的网页）
3，引用你的文章的作者是比较好的大学的高职位的教授或牛人（附牛人的网页）。
满足以上3个条件，列出5－10篇就可以了。
这里只是介绍一下我准备citation的一些经验，班上看到很多人没有区分他引，或者自
己做统计表列上所有的中英文引用的也有过的。所以最后还是看运气了。罗里罗嗦这么

我只列几个NewRX的报道，其中有提到我的名字和引用了文章的段落。另外就是NewRX自
己的网页介绍，highlight一下newRX自己的奖项以suport它是个international的媒体。
律师在看了材料后还是决定claim这项，当然也是只短短的说了几句。

我觉得我律师的一个原则特别对，他说绿卡申请就象一个法庭上的case，申请人的材料
贵在客观真实，尽量减少自己加工，这样能提高证据的可信度，让IO最后下结论。他说
IO们阅人无数，你对材料的加工越多只会增加对你的材料的怀疑。
容易得RFE，如果碰到刁的IO就反而容易被据。
这里我遇到的问题就是citation怎样统计。律师要求一定要independent的，包括所有
coauthors的引用的都不能算。
我用不同的搜索网站搜过（google shcolor，ISI，scopus，CNKI），各不相同。
google的优点是出来的数量最多，但自引需要手工区分，另外有些引用是重复的，还有

Can LOUZHU share how to get the access to ISI and Scopus. It seems both of
them only allow institute access not individual user. If that is the case,
then I have to use google scholar. If not, can you share more details about
how to do it. I just cannot get the right link.

周边大城市的律师是不是好一点

章，但都是独立引用，审稿帮老板审是不算的。

Scopus.
I got chances to review manuscripts for journals of Elsevier. They gave me
free 30-day access to Scopus. Hope this can help.

Although the beneficiary has served as a judge of others in the field by
reviewing articles for peer-reviewed journals, the reviewing the work of

I just curious why your lawyer suggest you to claim 4 items instead 3, and

就是评审你是否够outstanding，这一步不过关是会被拒的。
主要就这些。我的PL里面律师主要是摘录了reference letter（尤其是independent
letter）里面很强的句子，来说明he has risen to the very top of the field, and
has sustained national or international acclaim, and that his achievements
have been recognized in the field of expertise.

因为费的力气可能比一开始找他们的还大...
我觉得还是有道理的，bless玳瑁

that he do not want to waste his time on it, but he wish I could have a good
luck fighting back by myself. Sigh.....
