我的理解是，跟绿卡持有人结婚，不会对他的身份或者说绿卡申请有任何帮助，对吧？ |

apply F1 to enter USA, after his gf becoem citizen, after marriage, he could
apply GC. |

your brother could only apply himself, and all his future status depends on
himself, his gf could not do any help. That is why many girls either marry
citizens, or marry someone who has not submit 485 (has not got green card
yet)^_^. |
