发帖数: 656 | 1 10/3来的RFE通知，今天10/24还没和律师说上话。三个星期就这样华丽丽的过去了~~~
因为上班很忙，时间根本不够用，就请了几个星期个假准备在家里忙这个。结果时间一
天一天过去，还是不知道律师的想法。也不知道他会怎么计划，整天呆在家里看材料，等他
的电话，人也发霉了。
如果说绿卡这个过程考验人的心智，99%的同学都会同意吧。求人难，写信难，挖掘闪
光点难上加难。
可是我得说这个过程也挺修生养性的。等就一个字，永远不要觉得长。以前等得不耐烦
了，就打电话，写follow-up email。多了也就知道没用了。现在到觉得平静了，也没觉得心情特别不好会要
发脾气。等吧，就浪费点假期，顺便来这里牢骚一下。

发帖数: 6523 | 3 Why didn't he contact you earlier? How many days do you have for the RFE response? 84 days? Even so, three weeks in waiting without doing anything are too much.
Have you called him? If he didn't answer, keep calling him every day till he responds. He should at least send you the RFE letter. If he does not help much, you can really use another lawyer or do it by yourself.

I didn't call him (difficult to find him via phone call any way) but i sent
a few emails earlier. He was out of town initially for about a week. He did
mention in the email that he would help me and was going call me, but didn't
say when. anyway, have been waiting for the call for quite some time, but
still don't know when it will happen.

NIW or EB1 has a final say as to whether i will stay here next year.
believe me i have been working with him since February, and i know him. if
he doesn't responde, he doesn't respond no matter how many time i call him.

put up with him?
If he does not respond till now, especially after he had promised you to
call you back, but he didn't, you can email him, call him, leave a message,
or send a letter, in whatever way you can think of. Or, you can even do it
yourself.
Well, I know that you are under stress right now, and I am not talking from
a point to blame you, but just to let you know that there are things that
you can do about your own priorities.

bad. There are good and bad lawyers in other ethnic groups as well.
Just keep bugging him. You deserve his service since you have paid for it.
Otherwise you can fire him.
