者研究的经历。
因为我才工作2年不到。这样的RFE似乎很难回答。按我的理解，IO应该还没看我其他的
claim，因为他在RFE中也没提到我claim的东西。而这个3年的研究经历，又必须证明我
读书的时候的经历也算outstanding，而证明这个又需要我后面所有claim的东西来支持。
他在RFE中说：
Evidence of teaching and/or research experience shall be in the form of:
letters from current or former employers and shall include the name, address
, title of the writer, and a specific description of the duties performed by
the beneficiary.
note: experience in teaching or research while working on advanced degree
will only be acceptable if the beneficiary has acquired the degree and if
the research conducted toward the degree has been recognized within the
academic field as outstanding.....
这样的RFE，我是直接就问之前的学校要个信证明我在那做过RA，并且他们觉得是
outstanding。还是说我得另外再要推荐信啥的来support我在那个时候的research是
outstanding？有没有有类似经验的？多谢！！！
附背景(弱case)：
2010年美国PhD毕业。现在业内最大的公司research engineer。传统电路设计专业，8
片普通IEEE Trans.（4片一作）和7片普通IEEE conference。他引40多个，但是有20个
来自一片3作的paper。。。。1个中文的book chapter（本科时候的，不知道能算不能
）。3个pending patent。6个独立推荐信（2个美国，2个欧洲，1个韩国，一个中国） | e******r

发帖数: 421 | 5 我和楼主的背景很相似，也是2010年底拿到PhD。我的律师特别强调了这个三年
research经验。他让我以前的PhD program director出了一封信，来证明我以前的成果
就是outstanding。PL中也十分强调我的主要成果都是在PhD期间做出来的。供楼主参考。
