I have just sent my I -485 application along with I-765 for EAD to USCIS two
weeks ago. And I will graduate this May. Is it necessary to apply OPT , in
order to keep F1 status after graduation?
When I fill the OPT application form (I -765), how can I answer the question
(item 11): Have you ever before applied for Employment authorization from
USCIS?
-If I say no, in fact I have just applied it ( For the EAD of Green Card)
two weeks ago. --If I say yes, I have not got the result yet ( proved or
denied) .

发帖数: 24532 | 2 if you say "No" , could be deemed as "Fraud". All of your 485, OPT
applications will be denied.
if you say "yes" , F1 OPT will be denied.
so in your case, just do not submit F1 OPT because you will have 485 EAD
instead.

approved, your 485 application will be denied. |
