petition letter: name, year of first issue and frequency.
I attacheded as Exhibits some information about each conference: scope,
contents, program committee, inforamtion on previous proceedings, impact
factor, etc.
Then I explained that those conferences are internationl conferences by
citing the attached information, and compared their impact foractors with
the average factors in my area.
For Computer Science, I cited and attached two papers about the importance
of conferences:
1. Comparing the scientific impact of conference and journal publications in
computer science, by Erhard Rahm.
2. Conference paper selectivity and impact. | e******r
