我现在H签证，想秋季转成F签证上学。但是我几年前申请了140，已经批准，485现在在
等排期还没递交，请问这种情况H转F会有问题么？
我知道人在国内的话，申请了140，F签证就不会批准了。但人在美国这里是否可以？
几年前我知道有和我类似的同事顺利转成F签证，不知道最近移民局怎么处理这种情况
。多谢！
另外，哪位推荐个律师，联系了几个mit上面的律师，没有得到有用的答复。 | b*******e
发帖数: 24532 | 2 No attorney can help you much if you really want to transfer from H to F
after 140 approval.
Due to non-immigrant F1 Visa nature, either USCIS denies your F1 transfer,
or denies your 140 after approving your F1 or somehow put a mark in their
system.
Keeping your PD without stopping you from going to school might be hard.
Several options are:
1) Marry H1, US citizen;
2) You postpone one semester or one quarter after Oct this year after you
submit your 485. ( I assume you intentionally want to go to this school).
3) If your purpose is to keep legal status to F1, ICC will be a better
option even San Ge is really annoying and abusing the immigration system.
