some folks here may benefit from this Visa Mantis when they applied for F-1
or H-1 visa and went thru the Visa Mantis check

刚才去infopass（太近了，不去都不好意思）
说A-file还没收全呢，说什么从6月中才开始收集A-File
看来我还有的等，呵呵

Update 06/2009:
USCIS announced the elimination of (entire) FBI name check backlog as of
June 22. Their next goal is to achieve a sustainable performance level by
the NNCP of completing 98 percent of name check requests submitted by USCIS
within 30 days, and the remaining two percent within 90 days.
If you have been stuck in the FBI name check backlog, what can you expect
next? According to USCIS, their adjudication process may now include
updating fingerprint results, scheduling interviews, requesting additional
evidence and other reviews to determine whether you are eligible for the
requested immigration benefit.

485 name check 会比较容易过？
