Department at XXXX during the period Jan. 2007-Dec. 2010. He was supported
by our department as a Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant (TA/RA) during
his PhD studies. The support paid for his tuition/fees and provided a
stipend of approximately $18,000 per academic year. His duties included the
following:
• Conduct research in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Image
Processing;
• Teach undergraduate lab courses in Java Programming, Data Structures
, and Algorithms.
He did an excellent job both as a TA/RA and as a PhD student. He earned his
PhD degree in Computer Science in December 2010.

Re: Employment Verification for Dr. Poecher
To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is to verify that Dr. Poecher had more than X years of research
experience at the XXX(institution or department).
I am the director of XXX and a professor at the Department of XXX at the XXX
University. Dr. Poecher was employed as a full time research assistant at
the research center between August 2002 and February 2006 while working on
his PhD degree in XXX(major) at the Department of XXX at XXX University. His
research advisor was Prof. XXX and his annual salary was $17,000 with
tuition waiver, paid through a National Science Foundation research grant.
