USCIS’s requirement (We haven’t received 140 approval notice then. In
retrospect, it might be better to wait several days for the approval notice
to arrive). Now the question is do we need to send the approval notice to
the USCIS center that processes our 485, or they will know automatically?

发帖数: 612 | 4 only thought about this after 485 were filed. Our lawyer filed it for us,
with just the receipt number.

"If the I-140 is approved before the AOS is filed, a copy of the approval
notice is included. Otherwise, a copy of the receipt notice is sufficient.
All interested parties with USCIS should know that the I-140 is approved. "
