If I have a co-authored article (e.g. Nature) with Prof.A.
Prof. A has many co-authored articles with B,C,D...(I have nothing to do
with those articles)
DO I need to exclude B,C,D from my Nature article citation record???

I used ISI too.I just excluded the authors of that particular article and
print out the record.
One of my articles have over 20 co-authors, many of them are professors with
hundreds of co-authored papers. There is no way to exclude all of his co-
authors...
Headache!

找有scopus帐号的朋友，帮你直接区分一下。自己手动区分太麻烦。 |

Web of Science那个"Sum of Times Cited without self-citations"和"Citing
Articles without self-citations"只是除掉了我本人的paper引用，就是凡是出现我
本人名字的paper，都没有记入。
不过我的paper的co-authors的paper都还在。
没看到Web of Science有"independent citation"选项
个人理解：
"independent citation"应该是除去自己和自己的co-authors的引用
co-authors的co-authors就没有必要了，否则哪儿是个头儿啊！ |

发帖数: 228 | 6 I just clicked citing authors for each publication,(left column), and
excluded several of the names(myself and co-authors) and it will show the
refined results.
I am not sure if this is correct or not.
