instead, what it really asks for is: "the date you applied for employment
authorization". if you put your mouse pointer on the field for several
seconds, some instruction info will pop out, showing above info.
So I put the date USCIS received my OPT application (on the receipt notice).
if you don't have it now, I think just put your mail date. This is
information IO can very easily find out in their system; so I think just
giving them an approximate date will be fine.

发帖数: 3349 | 5 好象是填申请的日期。我是好几年前申请过OPT，早就找不到任何收据了，不过那个EAD
卡还在，大概填了申请的月份，没有填日子，因为日子肯定记不清了，不知道行不行。 |

both sides. that's it. |
