My job letter states my position as "Assistant Professor, Probationary,
Tenure-track, effective, August 15 2010 to May 15, 2013".
I just passed the 3-rd year review, so now the new letter says "Assistant
Professor, Probationary, Tenure-track, effective, August 15 2013 to May 15,
2016".
Dean 不肯在这封信上签名怎么办（concerning" This is a permanent position with
no fixed term")？我们这里只能找Dean，国际学生学者办公室不给办。这封信一定要
这么写么？改一改行不行？

university with expectation of unlimited duration of employment unless there
is good cause for termination.
