p*******m 发帖数: 6	1 Hello, I am a Green Card holder and my newly wedded wife is here on student visa. I was told that I could file I-130 petition for her. Has anyone done this before? What are pros and cons? Will her travel become restricted once the I -130 is filed? Thanks!
f*******n 发帖数: 12623	2 Yes, it's possible she could have a harder time getting a student visa, or entering the U.S. if she has a visa. But even if you don't file a petition, the fact that she's married to a permanent resident will also cause her similar troubles.
