My wife is the petitioner. I am green card holder. Should my wife act as the
Sponsor and I be the only joint sponsor?
Should my wife and I each file a separate I-864 form ?
In my wife's I-864, Part 1: should my wife check 1.a. ?
In my I-864, Part 1: should I check 1.d. ( I am the only joint sponsor)?

发帖数: 12623 | 2 You should not be a joint sponsor; since you are the spouse, you should
include your income as a household member of the primary sponsor (your wife)
, since you will be counted in her household anyway.
So your wife will fill out I-864, check 1.a "I am the petitioner. You will
fill out I-864A, check 8.c, Spouse. Your information and current income will
also be listed on your wife's I-864's Part 6 #6 "Person 1", and it will add
together with her current income to form her current household income. It's
this income that needs to meet the 125% poverty level.
Note that each in-law will be petitioned separately, so each will need a
separate I-864 (and separate accompanying I-864A).

So I will fill out the I-864A. Do I need to send my marriage certificate （
结婚公证）to the INS? I only have one left and want to keep it.
