manager的信，说：can you draft the letter what you believe it should look
like? 问题是我也没见过这种信，所以向大家请教这信里面都该写什么？

请问这样就可以了么？还要提供资金来源么？我的工资是一个grant发的，刚批下来，
还有三年才到期，这能写进去么？就说This grant addresses a critical medical
need of ABCDE and is expected to continue beyond the expiration of the
current grant.
再有就是我的雇佣历史，我是在同一个单位用OPT先做了几个月志愿者，然后变成post
doc, 做了一年后转成research associate 的。我这些东西都要写进去么？还是再多开
一个employment verification letter ?
至于谁来署名，我的大老板是开offer letter给我的人，我还是找他签名么？他是我们
组的division chief, 但是上面还有department chair之类的，但我找chair真的很麻
烦啊

我把自己的中期review写的personal statement (including research and teaching)
发给系主任， 他根据这些事实改写又加上了他自己的一些话。 万幸系主任很给力，
因为他自己也曾是international faculty, 澳大利亚人， 所以比较理解我们的苦楚。 |
