Yes You can come back to H1B. I had to come to EAD from H1B while I was on
my 4th yr H1B. My company lawyer said with a new rule you basically keep
unused H1B out of yr first 6 yrs reserved. In case you see something wrong(
RFE) in yr 485 you can re file for a H1b and you get to reuse the unused
portion of it. I am not sure what happens if you have used all 6 yrs. I see
using EAD is better than H1B if you have around 2 yrs left in yr H1b you can
come back to. And when it comes to extension it is not going to be an
extension rather its gonna be a new H1B but you donâ
