背景：
-Consultant，small company 20-30 people，high revenue，technology innovation
-chemistry major, 2 years of working experience
-11 publications (only 1 first author), 4 national conference posters/
abstracts, 7 patents (CN, US, EU), 2 productized patents in market trial, 1
near to market patent
-google scholar 39 citations, 2 chemical review papers cited and discussed
the work has been done
-no review
-no awards, media report beside of self PR
-Recommendation letter 8：5 independent letters;
1 Chinese professor, dean of chem department, cited my work in his paper. my
finding help them started a new synthesis route of a bio-active material.
1 Japanese professor, dean of chem department, a large paragraph in his
review paper discuss my work in 3 papers, one improved method was first
reported by my paper.
1 US Principal Scientist, talked about my patented technology and his
opinion of the market potential.
1 US scientist in University, discuss research impact
1 scientist in top pharmaceutical company, discuss the experience in using a
product based on my patented technology
3 dependent letters;
1 from Ph. D adviser, 3 years of work experience in the field, academic
research performance, impact of the research
1 from intern adviser in no.1 CPG company, talked about the impact of the
patent and product development
1 from ex-boss in the company, a CTO in a bio startup, discussed impact of
my client work and my patented technology impact
经过：
做consulting之后比较忙，而且喜欢定deadline。直接造成第一次14年头想申没耐心搞
完。15年头想着左右都要搞一搞了。
一共找了5个律师评估，感觉case应该算是奇葩的。按照一般的衡量标准是弱case，文
章影响因子和第一作者，引用，当时还没有审稿。可能大家也把握不好到底怎么用
patent，怎么用startup 经验做例证来作为证据。以至于绝大多数人推荐我NIW。
我定的目标是EB1b带NIW，所以最后材料都是按照EB1B准备的，而且是先交了EB1B然后
按照同样的package律师帮着交了NIW。可谁知NIW先批准了。
自己准备了research summary，律师写了2封推荐信，剩下的我自己写的。因为我定了
个1个半月的deadline，所以自己就也写了一部分推荐信，律师帮忙改。律师是免费写
推荐信的-包含在所有付款里面。
律师：
我最后用的是cai律师，原因有3
1.cai律师和我是同样的化学背景，这点在写推荐信和PL是后帮助很大，cai律师直接能
从我的文章中找到亮点
2.cai律师有100%的eb1b成功率，图个好彩头
3.cai律师收费合理，回复迅速，我听大部分用过cai律师服务的人说都是cai律师推着
他们走，对有拖延症的同学很有帮助
-补充用过cai律师经验。cai律师思维清晰，立论合理。行文结构非常符合
storytelling的要求，简洁、有力。我感觉cai律师还是很忙的。
心得：
板上大多同学都是走老三样，撸paper，review和citation。我自知paper不好，review
自然也不好。当时也懒得搞review，虽然最近半年搞了10个-应该也没法用了现在。
我当时另辟蹊径是撸专利然后搞商业化，这个其实我觉得比撸paper容易多了。可能因
为我在工作中就做很多IP research。这个可以等eb1b结果出来之后详细讲讲，现在革
命尚未成功。
对于申请，其实还是要做到自己心里有数。那种一味的依靠律师或者一味的认为自己搞
最好在我看来都有点极端化，除非有其他客观条件的限制。我认为理想的状态是，我们
申请人对移民局审批的思路和标准有清晰的提纲挈领的认识，我们了解我们自己。这样
可以写出有针对性的Research summary和总结一些背景材料。然后律师的作用就是在法
条，立论，结构上帮我们切实提高成功率。我自己试过套模板来申请，这个如果资金不
紧张的话，不是很推荐。
