标 题: 绿卡逾期返美请教

父母绿卡没过期，但已在中国共停留三年多，停留逾期一年多再加上reentry permit的
两年。他们可以证明生了好多病，妈妈还做了膝盖手术，刚刚完成恢复。请问他们乘机
返美可以吗？应该会被盘问。可以用病历去上庭辨解吗？国内申请SB-1似乎很麻烦。多

登机应该没有问题。
如果坚持入境，应该会让她们入境跟着对他们开始removal proceedings（上庭）。
用什么都可以。只要能说服移民法官就行了。上庭应该请律师。

they otherwise qualify) with the immigration judge, but I am not sure in
this case as your parents are still permanent residents before the removal
is final, so they may not qualify for Adjustment of Status.
Why not just petition them for permanent residency from scratch? It will
only take about a year.
