140 = phd qualifier
485 = phd defense
140=资格审查, 485=背景审查.
140相当于“八”字的撇，485就是捺了
I-140是申请移民，I-485是身份调整；
I-140批准了意味着您已经有资格拿绿卡了，但是由于每年绿卡数量是有限的,您的名额
是根据出生地决定,所以要等排期以提交I-485，I-485批准了意味着您从非移民身份被
调整为移民身份，也就是拿到绿卡了。
140就是订婚，485就是结婚
140=火车票; 485= 派对上车.
人多车少, 所以要排期. | c**2
