USCIS electronic records indicate that A background check process as well as
the additional review process mentioned in our previous correspondence has
been completed at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC). Currently,
the Alien Files (A-Files) containing your constituents’ Forms I-485 are
assigned to an officer for further examination in the adjudication process
at the NSC; however, a USCIS decision or other notice of action has not yet
been issued in these cases.
While we are generally unable to grant requests for expedited processing in
Form I-485 cases, your office’s interest regarding the permanent residency
applications filed by your constituent has been conveyed to the
aforementioned adjudicating officer and a supervisory officer at the NSC.
We are unable to determine the date on which the adjudication
process will be complete. However, if you choose to follow-up
with the NSC Congressional Unit after approximately 30 days from the date of
this email message, we would be pleased to provide another case status
update at that point in time based on a future inquiry from your office and
