Abstract: The Horizon Research Group has engaged a continuous survey
research on ‘The world in Chinese eyes’ for more than ten years. It
focuses on the Chinese’s perception and understanding towards the United
States of America, Russia, EU, Japan and many other countries, and people’s
views on the critical issues which have great impacts on bilateral
relations. The present survey aims to explore the Chinese view of America,
and China's current status and national image perceived by the Chinese
public.
Zoe Min Shen is the Director of International Business Development at
Horizon Research Consultancy Group, the biggest local independent research
company in China. Ms. Shen is a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at the University
of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Ms. Shen’s extensive
research experience in public opinion and social studies has enabled her to
serve as a bridge between the public and the local governments in China, as
well as between Chinese and people from around the world. She has given
invited lectures at domestic and foreign research institutes and think tanks
, including the National Committee on United States-China Relations, the
East-West Institute, and the National Library of China. She has also helped
higher education institutions, including Tsinghua University and Southwest
Jiaotong University, to establish courses on social entrepreneurship. During
her fellowship year at the University of Minnesota, Ms. Shen focuses on
public policy analysis, foundation and nonprofit operation, management and
governance of nonprofits, and building skills in organizational
effectiveness.

不知道比较中国和美国有什么意义~ 还有那种“中国会不会成为世界第一”的调查. 怪
怪的. 不知道那种调查的目的和意义是什么，谁希望看到那种调查或是希望成为第一，
哎，还很长的路的吧（成为leader 不光只是有钱，还有好多，比如软实力的东西）~
真应该给那美女提一些善意的建议~ | y****9
