Dear Chinese international Students:
My name is Haijuan Gao and I am a Ph.D Candidate in the Health and
Kinesiology department at Purdue University, currently working on my
dissertation. I am conducting research about HPV (Human Papillomavirus) and
HPV vaccine. The purpose of the study is to examine what Chinese
international students know, think, and do about HPV and HPV vaccine. This
study has been approved by the Purdue Institutional Research Board.
I sincerely invite you to participate in the study by completing a short
online survey. If you don’t know about this topic, you will learn a lot
during the survey process. Your participation is voluntary. Your response
will be totally anonymous. No connection between you and your answer could
be linked. The survey will not collect any personally identifying
information and computer IP addresses. Your responses will help the
researcher to have better understanding of the research topic that will lead
to development of a more appropriate HPV prevention programs for Chinese
international students.
