That's a problem for the bank, not a problem for you. Mortgages generally
have no recourses, you really can walk away without filing for bankruptcy.
You will have a serious negative event on your credit history for a few years.
But hey, if the trade-off is getting to keep 500K in cash it's probably
worth it.
