Negatives:
1) Losing a big chunk of securitization business probably means a
period of credit contraction. The mostly likely outcome is at least a very
mild recession.
2) ROE and earning growth estimate is still too high given the economic
reality
3) Another, probably final wave of write down (100~300 billion) is coming in
Q1 report. If those write down are still concentrated in US financial
institutions, it will be big joke to the pur |
