Generally owning gold is going against government so you have to be
extra careful about all bullying dirty tricks government throw at you.
#1 Appreciation tax. I think it's currently 28% or sth, higher than
capital gain.
#2 Government confiscation. If they want to redo the Dollar, they will
go after your gold. FDR did it in 1933.

china?
#2, although fdr forced to take gld from ppl with lower price, nixon did
push gold up. :)
also, i don't think mr maobama has the same guts as fdr, hehe.

没有钱去买。值几百几千的古董升的也不多。古董市场和股票一样，有波动和周期的。
准备开个古董鉴赏俱乐部在论坛里，有兴趣的一起讨论，支持呦！

其实东西贵贱都是人炒作的.黄金其实也仅是元素周期表里的一种. 原来的祖先把贝壳
当做买卖的钱币,其实和现在的钞票查不多,几张纸本身不值什么,是我们人把他加上了
特有的属性.我想对于收藏爱好者来说,赋予古董的含义就不同了.不单是物以稀为贵,小
东西里还有着历史价值和艺术价值.有些手工木雕,或者瓷器,现在的技术都很难达到(除
了高仿).
其实讲到投资,这个就如不论黑猫白猫抓老鼠的就是好猫一样,投资有回报的就是正确的
.但是古董市场水很深,像newgumin说的国内忽悠的恐怕是挺多的,没有经验不懂行情的
还是以欣赏为先吧.
