我觉得active fund里面contrafund(large cap)和low price stock(mid cap)都不错，
两个manager都有proven long-term record。

发帖数: 3169 | 17 我对ETF的理解是它只在一般的情况下track NAV，如果遇到极端的挤兑还是有可能
discount的。。。还有一个问题就是ask-bid spread，如果dollar cost averaging的
话也会成为成本的一部分。话说回来，Vanguard的free ETF还是很有吸引力的。。。

in addition, if there's run, it's even better as it must be a panic time
when u should be greedy instead of fearful.
for those big etf's ivv or iwm in fidelity, the spread is very small.
fidelity's free etf's are even better. they are from ishare, one of the
biggest etf players. schwab and vanguard etf are not that popular.

干嘛去 fidelity 买 etf?

boa has 30/mo free trades but more strict rule on account balance.

At Vanguard I could buy PTTRX for $25,000 or more. If I want to invest in
PIMCO total return with that amount, I will buy PTTRX at Vanguard and pay
the transaction fee, rather than buy PTTDX which is NTF.
