guaranteed interest rate of 1%. If the index increases, it gives the same
interest rate as the percentage of index increase with a cap of 13.25%.
When it is too good to be true, it is very likely not true. Any comment on
this product is greatly appreciated.
BTW, is there a similar product available for the public to invest in, but

发帖数: 34805 | 2 First of all, most people don't need permanent life insurance.
Personally I don't see the need to pay a helfy preminum for life
insurance after I retire. Your kids are on their own, you have a
sizeable fund for retirement, no employment income. Unless you
think you'll die early after you retire, there's really no point.
We all know we lose money in insurance in average. That's why we
want just enough coverage, not as much as we can afford.
Second of all, the life insurance part of premimum may be way more
expensive than a standalone permanent life insurance if there's product
like that. As it's harder
to find the same policy in an open market, less competition always
means more fee.
To construct the same protection, you can buy stock, buy a 1yr put
2% higher than currrent price, and sell a 1yr call 13.5% higher than
current price. That's the extra you pay, and it's probably lower than
the hidden fee/extra premium the insurance company gets.
