不过我现在没现钱啊
在roth里面有3000块的cash，究竟是买phys, rgld还是买precious metal etf呢？还是
有别的选择？

直接投资黄金的话，多数人，包括很多机构投资者都选择GLD，世界最大的黄金ETF,直
接持有大量储备，所以比较放心(我是说
在纸黄金中)
不过长期持有GLD的话是有一定cost的，我没仔细测算过，估计在一年1%左右吧。因为
ETF有管理费，future的carry cost等等，
还有一个办法就是直接去OTC市场买spot的黄金。这个也很方便，就跟买外汇一样，有
个forex account就行。大家不要看到forex
就和投机直接联系起来。是的，去forex买黄金你可以利用1:10的杠杆，但是只要你自
己不搞投机，去购入远超出你手头cash的
position，就和直接买金子一样。这个是现货市场，cost比持有ETF要低，大约每年0.1
% carry cost。(有人得帮你保存你买的黄
金，你总得出点储藏费不是)。不过这个OTC市场严重依赖买卖双方的credit，如果
hyper inflation一来，金价飙升100倍，估计
OTC就melt down了，大家都要提现，这market上可是没有那么多真金的。总之，万一，
我是说万一，你需要兑现金子救命的时候，可能就不灵了。
当然了，GLD在这个时候也会不灵的，因为GLD持有的金子根本赶不上它的market cap，
至少我上次查的时候是这样。
那么最稳妥的方法，当然就是存实物金在家里了。不过这个流通性稍差，另外，你得付
出一定的溢价才能拿到。比如昨天我查
bulliondirect上1oz金条似乎是1490，比market的spot price溢价大约3%。还有就是你
自己要保存好，万一被贼偷了你就亏大了。
另外，流动性自然还是比前两个差，你至少得去趟金店才会换回钱来，不像前两个，鼠
标一点就能买卖。
所以总而言之:
对个人来说，少量的金/银投资，例如50K USD或以下:
流动性： OTC spot market > ETF > 实物
Cost: OTC spot market < 实物 < ETF
安全性: 实物 >> ETF > OTC spot market

实物黄金我认为是最保险的，网上有什么precious metal ira，不过要交管理费等等。
我买了黄金自己管理岂不是更好，至少我还能确保我手里有黄金，我不相信其他人或者
机构。
Gld是不能持有，因为它自己都没有足够的黄金。

it's very hard to fake gold coins and a falony. and gold is not that
precious at all, if ppl buy ipad from there and not worry about getting a
fake one, gold is fine too, after all, $1500/oz, what's the big deal? hehe.

i accumulated gold just for fun in the beginning... or put in this way, it's
a dumb but lucky investment only.

they'll send you 1099 and report to IRS.

up and bought GLD ETF instead.
Still a little bit unconfident with ebay.

gave good rebate, so i ended up getting under spot at that time.
back to the original post, i was just suggesting ebay is another option to
get in/out, ppl choose whatever they feel confident with, hehe.

buying a couple of ounces, not much to worry about at all, ebay got you
covered as a buyer.
pay with paypal or credit cards with protection, don't use checks/wire or
other methods.
buy american buffalo or canadian maple, they're the easiest/safest to trade.
