But based on Aug 2011-Feb 2012 numbers, I am guessing the fixed part will be
at 0 or near 0 and the var part will be less than 3%. For $100 invested in
iBond, the return after 11 months and 1 day, you should get no more than $
100+$3 back. This is just a guess, you don't have to agree my guess with me.
Let's hope the gas price can go to $6 a gallon, then the overall ibone rate will be great. i.e. 8% or more. I know Fed wants the rate stays at about or around 2%, so they are allowed to do QE and I hate to see gas price to go any higher because I have no position in XLE ETF. =(
