Yodlee Moneycenter is more reliable. It's THE de-facto standard, THE
original account aggregator.
I use both and Yodlee can connect to more accounts than Mint. Yodlee's
automatic transaction categorizing are way smarter than Mint's. 20% of my
credit card transactions come up as "unknown type" on Mint. Whereas Yodlee
get like 98% right.
When Mint started in 2006 they used Yodlee as the backend platform and
touted an easier interface, which immediately was a success. But soon after
the collaboration fell through and Yodlee quit. Mint has to use Intuit's
algorithm (based on Quicken) ever since, which is just not good enough imo.
Mint has ads while Yodlee does not. Yodlee does not make money from the free
Moneycenter service because it focuses more on selling their platform to
big banks such as BoA and Fidelity for $$$$$. Sadly that means they don't
spend a lot of time on the free Moneycenter service. Make sure to use the
Classic Version 9.X of the Moneycenter, not the redesigned Version 10
interface which is a mess.
