com. Try to understand why you want to invest, how to invest and what to
invest. This will serve you well in long term. There are different ways to
buy mutual funds. Buying from a brokerage house such as Scottrade is one.
But you can also go to fund companies such as Vanguard and Fidelity and buy
their low cost fund directly without any trasaction charges. Whether or not
buying MF in a retirement account is your call. But it's always a good idea
to max out your retirement contribution first. |

But I still have extra cash and want to buy more.
Scottrade requires $5M account to buy mutual fund, anyway, I will
try fund company directly
