发帖数: 4260 | 1 试了一下子IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition，没有很impressed，
呵呵。没看出来为什么一直会有人买。速度没有感觉快，很多事情
比eclipse慢，界面用awt/swing，不太好看。可能因为用得少，没有
发现好用的地方呢。但是IntelliJ有一群忠实用户，IDEA粉丝们说说

IDEA 很多地方还是比 Eclipse 好用（我两个都用）。IDEA 对于小 project
来说很不错的。大点的话，Eclipse 的 compile-on-save 更舒服点，也稍微
快一点。IDEA 的 refactoring / code inspection 都是很强的。Eclipse 的
xml edtior sucks 。

你说IDEA的refactoring强，希望有机会试试看。只是eclipse的
refactoring tools也还没有都用过，一般都是Copy&Paste。
Code inspection都做些什么？
主要是现在还没感觉到eclipse有什么做不了，或者很不方便的
事情，所以还没有很大动力仔细研究IDEA。。

Java developer一般都喜欢用free/open source的，但是
IntelliJ一份卖$500都卖的很火，可见多受欢迎。
当年的IDE，比如netbeans什么的，一看就是architect设计的，
没什么人正经用的，还不如用个好点的general text editor爽。
关于IDE的争论一般是集中于vi/emacs/textpad etc。
IntelliJ一用就觉的很顺手，不光是feature list的问题，
好象知道你想要什么，完全是developer写给developer用的。
Eclipse就是抄IntelliJ的，刚开始很烂，到现在也很不错了，
所以用的也越来越多。IntelliJ销量估计受到了很大的影响，
所以试图用免费版吸引新人。但是够呛。没法跟IBM比烧钱。
IntelliJ将依靠老用户支持一段时间，最后和历史上所有非大
公司支持的IDE一样消失掉。但是它的历史地位可比turbo pascal。
现在谁也不会再argue用text editor编程了。IDE本身必需对

发帖数: 34805 | 5 eclipse用的是osgi架构，才会有后来这么多plugin，
swt的look&feel也很受欢迎，一些feature，如compile on save
是很有想法的东西，不能简单的一个抄字概括了。

knowledge of windows platform, java is mostly open source
and any good idea can be emulated by other IDE. If you
are not free, you'll die, just like netscape.

I guess the only way to make money out of open source projects is to provide
augmented service.
For example, IDE could be free, but a better design tool or something built
on top of the IDE could charge money, just 2 cents... |

Crtl+(Alt+)click -> Jump to declaration (implementation)
Ctrl+F6 -> change function signature
Ctrl+(Shift+)N -> open class (file)
...
基本上所有的日常功能都有快捷键，换了eclipse就不知道该怎么办了。:(

to see refactoring menu.
Ctrl+shift+T
In general, check keys, you'll find the counter part there.

had too... no good alternatives.
After so many years, emacs (X-windows version) and xemacs still
sucks as an editor.
