are very well and full of future. The problem is some of their parents
may be passed away soon. Like SUN. How long it can last is a problem.

Both solutions will survive.
They are not really alternative solution to each other.
And some people use java just because they hate MS.
Industry will more focus on Service-oriented solution and the implementation
language will not matter as before, that is the trend happening

Java is also supported (fundermentally) by IBM, BEA, Oracle,
almost all the software hard core except for ms.
