opinion?
I, for one, think:
* This book is light years away from "Design Pattern", in sense of originality
and creativity
* Many "patterns" are just standard feature of J2EE. It's more like a
explanation of standard feature rather than some real insightful thoughts. If
J2EE specification gets modified because of this book, I would take back my
words. But I seriously doubt that.
* The author definitely enables "VERBOSE" mo | d****s

and not much useful stuff. BTW GOF book is really worth the money. I
like its textbook style much.

Gang of Four's patterns are for lower level, typically detail designs.
Sun BluePrints are higher, for stucture system designs. Some of them
are particular for EJB/J2EE, but others are pretty generic.
