我是H1B transfer, 前一份工作的termination就是十二月底，马上就要到了，急死了

I'm writing to follow up on our meeting earlier this month. You
mentioned the search committee would talk to a couple of more
candidates before making the decision. I understand that you are
probably dealing with a lot of issues. I was hoping that you would
give me an update on my application status. Thanks.
