Hey XXX,
As you've probably noticed, I'm always on the computer for work, which
brings me to my next point. This position would start immediately and would
require a lot of time. You would need to put in more hours than the
standard full-time position. Is this something that you could see yourself
doing? We're hoping to hire someone that would eat, sleep and breathe this
job. I'm not trying to scare you away; I just want you to be aware of what
you would be entering into.
If you haven't already closed this e-mail, how does noon at the Starbucks at
739 Green Bay Road sound to you? :-)
Don't worry too much about Friday. It'll be an extremely casual
conversation. I do have a few questions for you but that won't be the focus
of the meeting. I'd primarily like to focus on explaining our idea to you.
If after our discussion you're still interested in working with us, I'm
going to have you sign a few papers (confidentiality agreement, non-compete
agreement, etc.). We're looking forward to having you join the team. Does
that sound like a good plan?
